A mandatory specialist crew-service fee of AED 900/day is added separately and excluded from equipment discounts. All rates are launch pricing, below the Dubai market rate.

Do you deliver the cinema camera rental?

Yes. Delivery and pickup are free anywhere within Dubai, with the equipment set up on arrival by our team. Delivery to other UAE emirates (Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, RAK, Ajman, Al Ain and Fujairah) is available from AED 200.

Is the RED Komodo X Netflix approved?

Yes. The RED Komodo X 6K is a Netflix-approved cinema camera with a Super35 global shutter sensor, 16+ stops of dynamic range and REDCODE RAW recording, broadcast and streaming compliant.

Does the rental include a camera operator or specialist?

A certified RED camera specialist is mandatory for every package and is shown as a separate daily crew-service fee at booking. The fee covers setup, rigging, focus pulling, on-set technical support and end-of-day teardown. Equipment-only early-booking discounts do not apply to the specialist crew-service fee.

What is included in the RED Komodo X flagship bundle?

The AED 1,800/day flagship equipment bundle includes the RED Komodo X 6K body, DZOFILM Arles T1.4 cine prime lens set, Aputure and Nanlite lighting, a Zoom F8n Pro audio recording rig, wireless monitoring, follow focus and grip. Some shots need a lens shaped like nothing else, and the Laowa 24mm f/14 2X Macro Probe is that tool. Venus Optics built a long, pencil-thin barrel that reaches into spaces a normal macro lens cannot enter, then added a 2:1 reproduction ratio so a subject fills the frame at twice life size. Our Laowa probe lens rental in Dubai puts that reach on your RED Komodo X or full-frame body for product, food, automotive and tabletop work.

The optical design fixes aperture at f/14 and stops down to f/40, trading light for the deep depth of field macro needs most. An 85 degree angle of view delivers the wide bug-eye perspective the probe is known for, holding foreground detail and background context in a single shot. Minimum focus sits at 47cm with a 20mm working distance at the tip, and a built-in LED ring light around the front lights a subject from inches away.
